So sad that she suffered so in the story. Yet I thought it was going to lead to this. I hope there is a happy ending. Her Dad is one terrible person. Edwina Brown
Edwina, it was a hard chapter to write; even more so to read. I really put myself into the skin of my main character as much as possible. But I did not want to be overly graphic with the scene. That is why I decided to go with the out-of-body experience. I believe it is feasible that a victim of such violence could disconnect in such a way, but there may be another reason for that happening, which should come out in the story later on.
