Scrap Cards - Part Two

Hello Friends,

Last week I showed you a few of the cards I've made recently, using scraps and stash papers. Here are a few more.

I made the sweet mouse on this card from a BossCut die I've had for years. The die has wheels. The idea is to add a string and make it a toy mouse. I decided to set this little critter free. The flourish is from a Sizzix die. Yep, I've had that one for eons too. I made the little envelope and tag by hand. I left the tag blank. I'll add an appropriate sentiment before I mail this guy to his new home.

For these next three cards, I used some big flowers I've had -- should I say it -- for years. I think they look gorgeous and don't understand why I've never used them before now.

It felt great to use up paper scraps and stash items. My favourite part was making those cute envelopes and tags. They were super simple. I got the idea from Marta of Maremi's Small Art. I'll put her You Tube video here, in case you want to check it out.

In all, I've made at least 30 cards in the last couple of months. I've been on a bit of a binge, and loving it. Unfortunately, I didn't photograph most of the them. I'll try to do better in the future.

Thanks for dropping in. I hope you are keeping well and safe.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa
