My regular followers know that I have been trying to incorporate as many paper scraps as possible into my recent designs.
I am discovering that letting my scraps guide my design is very liberating and fun. Some pieces (like the quilt on the card below) I make ahead when I feel like doing fussy work. I keep these handy for making quick cards that don't look quick.
Today's design uses an inchie 'quilt', a tag that has been in my stash for ages, a die cut sentiment I have also had for a long time, a few other patterned paper scraps and a small piece of lacy ribbon.

Teresa, Glad you're joining us at Simply Create Too for our Mother's Day/Female Challenge. Your princess birthday card is just right for our challenge. I love using my scraps too--but have you found that the more you use, the bigger your pile of scraps get???? Seems that's how mine get!!!
