Hello Friends,
Sunday's CAS challenge at The Outlawz is to use a number on your design. I made this card for a dear little boy who is turning three this month.
The background is a two-step embossing process. I added Washi tape to the left side and bottom before attaching it to my card base. The J and 3 are stickers. The key is chipboard. I added the 3 to the key and the J to cardstock, then popped up the piece.
Thanks for stopping by. I have been thinking a lot about doing a blog candy, but what I really want to do is honour those of my followers who regularly visit and comment on my posts. You are the ones who encourage me to keep trying to do more than I think I can do. I thought about sending each of you something, but to do that all at once would be prohibitively expensive. So...
... here is what I am going to do:
If you have been a regular commenter on my blog over 2014 (at least once a month), I will soon contact you for your mailing address. During 2015, once a month, I will select one of you to receive something that I think you will like. You will never know the month in which it will be your turn. That will be my little secret. You will get a small surprise at some point and I will get to show you at least a fraction of the gratitude I feel towards you for all of the love you have given to me.
So... what do you think of my plan?
Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

The little 3 year old should enjoy his card very much with all the stars and the cute cars and trucks! I have a 3 year old grandson and he spends so much time with his toys. I don't think you need to worry about sending gifts. If most people are like me it is just nice to visit your blog and share special moments with you.
He'll surely love this card, the Washi is gorgeous for a little boy.
Thanks for joining us over at Challenge up your life!

Wonderful card and love the washi tape :-)
Your card is so sweet, Teresa! I really love the colours and the washi tape is just too cute!
Your idea of blog candy is awesome and so much nicer than the other blog candy sweeps I know. It's so much more caring.
Thanks for sharing your talent over at Challenge Up Your Life and good luck!

What a cute card for a toddler! Love the trim with the key! And love all the bright colors! :^)
I think your idea for blog candy is really generous! You are so talented that it is a pleasure for all of us to come here and tell you! :^)
