Hello Crafty Friends,
Do you ever colour up images and then stash them away without using them on a project? Or maybe not even colour them, but only print and cut them out? I must confess that I do both.
Today's image is from Clear Dollar Stamps. I printed, coloured and even mounted it with the sentiment a few years ago. Yep, that's right - years. You might recognize him as the Doodle Pantry birdie, but I got him way back when he was offered as a Clear Dollar Stamps image. I thought it was time to let this little birdie fly and I finally had the perfect project for him.
I made this little box as an object lesson for my SS class tomorrow. It was a bit tricky getting the sentiment piece to stand up straight with the wire I used. I think I went through half of a hot glue stick and I kept adding roses, plus a small lump of clay, until it finally didn't flop over.
The words on the sides are stickers that I got in my Christmas stocking. I put them on all four sides.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you are having a lovely Saturday.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa
