Hi Friends,
I have been busy the last few days getting ready to teach my first official art course. I will be teaching young students how to make a mixed media canvas tomorrow at a home school conference. They will do the project in three stages, one step at a time, throughout the day. There will be time between classes to clean-up, set up for the next class and allow the projects to dry.
Since I work best when I am well-prepared and organized, I spent all afternoon organizing all of my supplies into containers labelled with Class #1, #2 and #3. I have print-out instructions and supplies lists for each class, with an extra copy for my helper so she can easily help me to set up the tables for each class. I am hoping this will make the classes run smoothly and keep me from getting stressed out trying to remember everything on the spot.
Here are all of my boxes, bags and containers, ready to be packed into the car.
If this goes well, I probably will accept the opportunity I have been given to teach an art journal course this summer. I'm a little nervous because all of this is still fairly new to me, but I will be teaching beginners who know much less than I do, so it's all good.
Thanks for taking a peek. I hope to have a new image for you by Sunday.
Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

Teresa this is so exciting just seeing everything packed and you ready to go. Reminds me of when I used to do classes a number of years ago. I am sure it will be such a success and look forward to seeing some photos. Hugs, Ursula
