Doodle Pantry Bird

Hello Peeps,

Here is another card with a pre-coloured Doodle Pantry image. This happens to be my all-time favourite DP image because it makes me smile every time I look at it.
The sentiment was included in this set. I like to ink around my die cuts - one of my favourite techniques for making a design look polished.

Originally I made the card without the little strip of ribbon. I photographed it, but then I thought it didn't look done. Here are the before and after shots.
Before adding ribbon
After adding ribbon strip
To me it looks so much better. It is amazing what one small detail can do to finish off a design. How about you? Do you ever complete a card (or other craft design) and then feel like it needs just a little something else - kind of like that pinch of salt that makes a meal perfect?

Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to stop by and your comments gladden my heart.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

Very cute bird image Teresa. Great card. Indeed the ribbon makes the card complete. Sometimes I also look at a card and feel there's something missing.
A little detail can make the difference.

Birdie is always one of my favorite Doodle Pantry images (along with the Ants) and I love all your die cuts and paper choices. I actually like the card with or without the ribbon. The ribbon does add one more pattern to the mix. :-D
