Prayer for a Car

Hello Friends,

Recently our dear little Toyota Camry was put on death row. Since we are waiting to see how the Lord will meet this need in our lives, I made an encouragement card for my husband. He liked it very much.
I have gotten in the habit of sopping up the extra paint in my palette, during clean-up, with scraps of water colour paper. One of the pieces became my graffiti-ed brick wall with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, which I inked up with SU Old Olive ink. I used another embossing folder on black cardstock for the road and heat-embossed the wooden key with silver embossing powder. Then I sponged over it with black ink. The car is a vintage image.

Thanks for stopping by. Make sure to pick up today's free image while you are here - an Angora rabbit.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

Wow, fab card, Teresa--I am sure your hubby did like it very much!! Really love the bg you created, as well as the embossed road! :^)
I hope you find a new vehicle that fits your needs soon!
[And maybe you should start selling your digis! They are certainly worthy of being in a collection! :^)]
