Water colour embossing

Hello Friends,

I am a loyal follower of Lindsay Weirich, The Frugal Crafter, on her blog and You Tube. She has wonderful bubbly personality and produces fun, informative tutorials every day. A while back she showed how to combine water colour paints and embossing folders for a stunning background effect. Unfortunately, I can't find the link for her video, but the technique is simple.

You splash and splatter water colour paints over a piece of water colour paper, dry it and then run it through your machine with an embossing folder. You can ink over the raised bits to add more definition if you like, or leave it as is for a soft and pretty effect.
A strip of ribbon and a sentiment was all this design needed. It looks complicated, but it was incredibly simple (and fun) to do.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you are having a good start to a great week.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa
