Hello Friends,
Today I have a water colour painting I made using a beautiful poppies image by Anne Fenton (Anne's Digital Art) and an equally beautiful word art by Karen Murray (Word Art By Karen).
I haven't decided whether to simply frame this (I printed it out to fit a 5x7 frame) or to make it into a journal cover. Either way, with such gorgeous art from my blog friends, it is sure to be lovely.
I merged Karen's word art into Anne's digital image and printed it out onto water colour paper. Then I taped the page to cardboard with painter's tape to prevent the wet paper from warping and to create a clean border around the finished piece.

And here is the finished painting, dried and with the tape removed.

Hi, there this is so pretty, just love watercolor beauties and this is on the top. Beautifully crafted and the vibrancy is exquisite. For the first in about a month, I am on the computer. Yippee. Still taking care of my friend with Stage 4 Lung cancer. Have a bless weekend.

When you mix digital with paper, we call that "hybrid" in the digital scrapbooking world. Very pretty what you did.
