Water colour painting with Digital images

Hello Friends,

Today I have a water colour painting I made using a beautiful poppies image by Anne Fenton (Anne's Digital Art) and an equally beautiful word art by Karen Murray (Word Art By Karen).

I haven't decided whether to simply frame this (I printed it out to fit a 5x7 frame) or to make it into a journal cover. Either way, with such gorgeous art from my blog friends, it is sure to be lovely.

I merged Karen's word art into Anne's digital image and printed it out onto water colour paper. Then I taped the page to cardboard with painter's tape to prevent the wet paper from warping and to create a clean border around the finished piece.

Karen's word art:
Anne's beautiful image:
And here is the finished painting, dried and with the tape removed.
Thanks for visiting. I will try to have a new image up for you tomorrow or at least some new word art.

Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

Your poppies are wonderful. Your painting is really good. I love seeing poppies when I am out too, they are so fragile. Hugs, Valerie

When you mix digital with paper, we call that "hybrid" in the digital scrapbooking world. Very pretty what you did.
