Christmas Again #2

Hello Friends,

Yesterday I share some pics from my 2017 Christmas. Today I want to show you the gift I made for my darling Mother-in-law. I got the wooden Christmas tree form from Michael's and the photos from my sisters-in-law. I added the wooden star to the top.
That is Mom when she was a young woman
Christmases past - our kids and Mom's - on 2nd & 3rd tiers
I made the tiny gifts with heavy-weight patterned paper.
The bottom tier has pics from the growing up years of Mom's kids
The last of her nine babies
School years
The teen years
Thanks for stopping in. I appreciate your visit and look forward to reading your comments.

hugs & smiles,
Teresa

Beautiful shadow box collection, my friend! What a wonderful way to share (and keep) the memories. I'm sure your MIL loved it. :-D

OOoh I simply love this idea. I had seen something similar a long time back and ever since then it has been on my to do list. Love the color of the background and the gorgeous snowflakes especially
Cheers

Really lovely. I never did get to finish the house. I gessoed it, painted and sprayed it. I think I oversprayed it because it went quite sticky and wouldn't dry. I ended up using a lot of energy to sandpaper the edges and left it to see if the stickiness would go away. One for a few months time I think :)
