Hello Friends,
Terry and I made a batch of 40+ Christmas tree ornaments from slices of ash branches. The trees were felled by Hurricane Dorian in September of 2019 so they represent something good coming from a storm. Since 2020 has been a rather stormy year in many ways, I think these ornaments are quite fitting.
Terry did the slicing, sanding and varnishing, while I painted them and added red ribbon for hanging. I painted 18 ornaments with a lighthouse and the Confederation Bridge, to represent Prince Edward Island. Another 18 were of snowy fir trees, soon to be a familiar sight around here. I painted snowmen on the last five. One of them I made into a pirate, just for fun.
Hugs & smiles,Teresa
