Hello Friends,
Recently I joined a terrific Facebook group called Junk Journaling for Everyone. They are an encouraging group and there are always lots of swaps and challenges to keep you interested. If you love junk journaling, I highly recommend this group.
JJ4E has "The Big Bite Challenge". They have broken it into "Mini Chomp" challenges. You can pick some or do them all. You can also jump in at any time.
Mini Chomp #1 was to make 3 each: journal cards and tags. The theme is vintage and I chose paper dolls as my topic. These ones came from Maremi Small Art.
Mini Chomp #2 was to make our first set of signature pages (6). I used tea-dyed lined and copy papers. My paper dolls are Jane Austen ladies. (I can't remember the source) They represent, for me, the homemade paper dolls my sister and I used to cut from the Sears catalogue when we were girls.
The pages are folded in half. I'm showing only the fronts here. The insides and backs are similar, minus the ladies, so they are quite plain at this stage.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll show you my makes for Mini Chomp 3 in my Friday post.
#JJ4E
Hugs & smiles,
Teresa

These are all gorgeous, Teresa, your journal will be fabulous! Hugs, Valerie
Fabulous pages Teresa. I have asked to join the group too, sounds like fun. I have recently got interested in paper dolls, more with a view to designing some. Have you see E Duncan’s site. I may have the wrong name, although you will recognise it if you you do know it. I will see if I can find a link x
