Hello Folks,
I made a card with that other daisy painting today. For inspiration, I used the palette at the Color Throwdown challenge and the sketch at Repeat Impressions.
First I took a die cut from a paper (K & Co) with all the challenge colours in it and used the negative to frame my water colour painting. I angled a ribbon snippet on the corner.
For the other rectangles in the sketch I used an embossed foil die cut and another patterned paper. For the oval I used a smaller die cut on which I stamped Happy Birthday. I used my last snippet of this particular ribbon (love it) on this sentiment piece.
My final step (not on the sketch, but just for fun) was to add this fancy sheer ribbon bow that I made last night.
And here is the completed card.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate your visit and your comments just plain make me smile.
Hugs & smiles,
Teresa
