Hello Friends,
I have been making my way through some of my stash of pre-stamped (or printed) images. Today's card uses a Fred She Said "Whazzup Chicky" image and a Clear Dollar stamps sentiment. I took my inspiration from this week's sketch challenge at The Outlawz.
How do you follow a sketch challenge? I like to get out pieces to represent each of the elements and then fiddle around with them until I find an arrangement I like. I rarely do it just as it is in the sketch.
Washi tape (silver-green glitter) represents one of the ribbons, while a negative die cut strip of glitter paper stands in for the other. I used a pretty big bow on this one; not usually my thing as most of my cards need to be mailed and flat works better for that. The flower center is instead of the star in the sketch pic.
My sentiment stands in for the oval in the pic and teardrop gems instead of pearls.
A paper-weaved square is for the square piece in the sketch pic. I have added white flourishes.
And that brings all of the elements in the sketch into this design. I hope the sketch team at The Outlawz doesn't have any trouble deciphering it.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you are having a great week.
Hugs & Smiles,
Teresa
